For more than a decade, ENTREMONT ALLIANCE milk producers have been committed to a constant quality improvement process. This process is based on adherence to a charter of good farming practice, as defined by the French cattle-breeding institute, the Institut de l’Élevage. This charter transposes to dairy farms the requirements of EU regulations relating to health and hygiene on the farm and to environmental protection.
In 2008, 92% of dairy farms supplying ENTREMONT ALLIANCE adhered to the charter, representing more than 95% of the milk collected by us in France.
This quality process enables us to guarantee traceability from the farm to the factory and ensure milk of constant quality based on daily tests. In addition, our dairy technicians pay regular visits to farms, and briefing meetings are organised by the dairy production department every year.
