OBJECTIVES

• To resort to renewable energy sources across the ENTREMONT ALLIANCE Group's sites to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
• To treat and recycle waste from Entremont Alliance plants.

OUR APPROACH

To reduce the Group's dependence on fossil fuels by:
• Conducting research into installing wood boilers (fuelled by logging residue chips) on sites with local wood resources.
• Conducting research into installing solar panels to make use of the large amounts of space on the roofs of our plants in areas of sufficient sunlight.
• Treating waste to improve water quality and reduce the taxes paid to river authorities.
• Conducting research into the most innovative recycling techniques for waste produced by demineralising whey.
