Always being a step ahead is what drives ENTREMONT ALLIANCE R&D. It works closely with the Marketing and Industrial Applications departments.

Innovation takes time.
ENTREMONT ALLIANCE therefore bases its market launches on tactical development strategies, and carefully planned long-term projects.

Together with the Industrial Applications departments, ENTREMONT ALLIANCER&D is a key part of this driving force which – combined with sales strategy and industrial applications – aims to revamp existing products, optimise industrial processes and develop innovative product ranges.

R & D

Regarding this last area, in 2008 ENTREMONT ALLIANCE R&D finalised the creation of a "new technologies" pilot hall to develop new types of milk-based products for planned launch in 2010. Talks are currently underway within the Group to develop a number of projects on the themes of nutrition and health, particularly for specific consumer segments, from 2009.

2008 was marked by notable R&D success: development of a very light pressed cheese for Weight Watchers (less than 5% fat content while retaining unequalled flavour and texture).

The years 2009–2011 will focus on developments linked to nutrition and health, and also constant efforts for the enjoyment and practicality of our products.
